Birthday Girl!!!

March 29 - Our Rylee turned FIVE years old!  We had a great day and I wrote a lot about all of our fun in a previous post, but no pictures.  So, here are all the pictures of her fabulous day!  She had a great time turning five and we partied for days!  That is what birthdays are all about, right???
Rylee sleeping the night before...  Her last FOUR year old picture!

Logan wanted to be sure and give Rylee one last four year old hug before 7:39 when she officially turned 5.  It was so cute!

                                                                         FIVE!!!

Birthday breakfast - Rylee requested pancakes and strawberries and blueberries.  She actually wanted raspberries too but they were hard to find!
Everyone enjoying Rylee's birthday breakfast!
Avery and Rylee watching a little Doc McStuffins to start off their morning.  That is Rylee's newest favorite show.
We had to do a little craft project to be ready for her party the next day.  Rylee loved it!  She LOVES doing crafts.  We painted these clothespins so we could make butterfly treats for all her guests.

Avery helped too....

Paint fingers!  After this, we had to have a bath!!!

After her bath, it was time to decide on our plans for the day.  She went back and forth for awhile.  It was going to be the Cache Valley Fun park, but she changed her mind and picked McDonalds for lunch instead.  She LOVED her birthday shirt and all the attention she got wearing it and had a great time picking out her outfit and accessories! Then Mom made her have a bit of a photo shoot.

I think she was pretty excited for her birthday!!!  I love these cute faces!
At McDonald's.  She had a great time in the Playland and made some new friends, like always.  Ry is so good at making friends!  Daddy surprised us and joined us for lunch.  She was so excited!  She is quite the Daddy's girl these days.

When we got back from McDonald's, Daddy had these balloons just for her!  They were the ones she saw at the Dollar Store so she was really excited!  They had butterflies and were perfect for her party.
Rylee shares a birthday with her cute friend, Madi.  To celebrate, we took both girls to a REAL nail place to get their fingers painted.  Rylee did this last year on her birthday and loved it!  We were going to do toes, too but Rylee got too nervous.  I think she thought the water would be so hot.  Aren't they so cute waiting for their day of pampering?
Ry chose blue -  It is her new favorite color!
Getting her nails done - She looks so grown up!

Showing off her pretty blue nails
When we finished nails, Daddy had a surprise for Rylee - Flowers!  He is the best daddy and always does cute things like this for the girls!

Finally...it was time for presents!  She had been waiting for this all day long!

Logan HAD to have Rylee open his present first!  He was so excited to give it to her - It was some Lego Friends, which are super cute girl Legos.  She loved them!

I think Logan was just as excited about these as Rylee!  He couldn't wait to put them together.  Of course, he wanted to be the one to do it.
HUGS!
Avery got Rylee some Strawberry Shortcake dolls

I love how happy they are to shop for each other and give each other gifts and Thank You hugs!

Some Princess Squinkies
More Easy Bake treats!
A Princess Art kit to make her own Princess book

Avery liked the Squinkies too!
Clothes!  Rylee is about the only kid I know who LOVES getting clothes!
Rylee asked for butterfly stuff for her birthday....  I wasn't sure what that was.  But I found these really cute butterfly wings for her dressups.  She loved them!
She also got this butterfly garden.  But, if you can't tell by the look on her face, she had no idea what it was!
A Strawberry Shortcake playset!
They all thought that one looked fun.  It is perfect for Rylee because it has tiny little food and even a tiny cash register with little money.  She loves things that are miniature!
The loot!!!  I have this obsession with taking a picture of the kids with all their stuff after we are done opening.  I don't even have to set it up for Rylee - She does it right after she's done.  I love it!  She loves setting it up, too and has to have it all just so!  Rylee got Lego Friends from Logan, Strawberry Shortcake girls from Avery, some first reader books (she LOVES them and is reading SO great!!!), a Barbie tent, clothes, a Dora Leapster game, a Fancy Nancy book, Flynn Rider barbie size doll, butterfly wings, butterfly garden, Strawberry Shortcake market, Pinrcess tent and Princess Squinkies and a Tinkerbell dressup;

Coloring with Daddy at Dinner...
After we were done with presents, Ry wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse for dinner.  I think that was mainly so she could ride on the saddle!  She loves that!  Here she is enjoying her Mac and Cheese...

Logan, Daddy and Rylee
Riding the saddle with her birthday ice cream and a big Texas YEE HAW from everyone in the restaurant!  She loves this part of her birthday dinner!

When we came home, Rylee set up all her stuff like this....  She is so funny about lining things up and has been since she was little!
No birthday would be finished without blowing out the candles and cake!  I was making a special cake for her party the next day, so I just picked up this little one to make her day official even though it was pretty late and she already had ice cream at the restaurant.

Blowing out the candles and making a wish...It took several tries and she was taking some pretty big breaths in between!  So funny!!!

Enjoying a little cake...  She took a couple bites and decided she was too full.  She is the most sensible girl when it comes to eating!
She got these caterpillars for her butterfly garden and she is so excited to watch them change into butterflies!!!
Talking on the phone with Grandma and Grandpa Boman.  She told me that morning she was going to get TONS of calls!  Those slippers were what she picked out when we went shopping, too.  So cute!
Trying out a few of the new toys with Logan and Avery.  She was really nice to share!
Rylee and Daddy before she went to bed after her long special day!
Rylee and Mom

It is hard to believe she is really so big!  We sure love our little Princess and were so glad she had a fabulous day to celebrate being FIVE!  She still had a couple more fun birthday celebrations to come....
