July 20 - We love the cute little city that we live in and had fun at the City Days celebration! We spent Friday night playing on all the blow up toys with the kids running all over, chatting with friends and finished off the night with a fireworks finale! Here is sweet Bronson looking chubby. He is almost 3 months old, but someone I saw that night asked if he was SIX months! I was so sad at how quickly he is growing up!
Logan being a good brother and using his bum to help push Avery to the top of the slide.
Last year, Avery got stuck at the top of the slide and had to have the
worker rescue her, but she had no trouble coming down by herself this
year. Just needed some help to get to the top fast enough for brother.
Love watching her face as she slides down!
Rylee slid down like this for some reason
Waiting in line.
Avery was doing some sassy dancing while we waited in line.
Logan couldn't wait to try out the jousting. I was a little worried he would get a bit beat up or sad, because some of the kids were BIG! But he loved it! He was all smiles and laughing like crazy.
Crazy Logan on the slide.
Rylee face first
The kids had so much fun trying everything. I had to leave and go feed Bronson and Logan and Rylee were off playing and came back so excited to tell me
they climbed the rock wall... Dad was shaking his head in the
background and informed me they only made it a few feet up. Logan said,
"What? I'm afraid of heights!"
We found a great spot by some of our friends and loved watching the fireworks. For a small town, they do some pretty great show!
At the end of our fun night.
July 21 - Saturday morning, we went to the city parade. The kids had a great time! We always love a parade!
Logan was so excited for he and Bronson to have "matching" shirts. They weren't an exact match, but pretty close. I think he has felt left out of the girls matching for so long and loves to have someone to match now, too.
Miss Rylee
Waiting for the parade to start
Poor Bronson was having a tough morning! He is usually so chill when we go out and about and this is one of the first times I remember him being really fussy. It was super hot and he was tired! Eventually, he fell asleep and got a nap in his stroller.
Thank goodness for the binky!
Waving - I love how she waves at everyone in the parade! The girls especially loved waving to the Princesses, of course!
Ready to collect some candy!!!
Watching the band go by
Normally, we stay and enjoy a few more of the festivities on Saturday afternoon, but this year we were off for some fun with our family. Maybe next year Mom can win the softball championship again....
