Little Slugger Logan

Logan played his second season of Tball this year and did so great.  It is amazing how much better it goes the second year.  He knew a lot more what was going on and played really well and really enjoyed it.  Even if his kid sister was on his team!  It just worked out that his birthday barely missed the cutoff to move up and Rylee's barely made the cutoff to play, so they ended up on the same team.  It was fun to see them play together.  And nice to only have 1 game to go to.  Logan loved hitting and was the most serious base runner you will ever see.  He had quite the pose on the bases.  He would crouch down almost like he was in the blocks and then when it was time to run, he would pop up and go.  Cracked us up every time!  He also loved playing pitcher and 1st base.  He was always going after the ball no matter where he was on the field.  It was fun to see him be a little more aggressive.  He also loved to hit!

I love the tongue hanging out...

Logan also had a habit of chatting to the other team.  When he ran the bases or when he was playing a base.  Sometimes he would even try and push the player off the base.  I think he may have also talked a little trash.

July 17 - Last game of the season!

There is that base running pose again.  He takes this pretty seriously!
Playing 1st Base.  He improved at this position a lot this year!  He usually got a few outs each game, either from catching at first or throwing from somewhere else.  I guess it helps to be the biggest one out there!

Talking to another base runner...

I love this pose!

Playing pitcher in the last inning

Ry was playing 3rd and wasn't paying attention, so Logan was running the ball to 3rd every time.  That made Rylee pretty mad!  I think he finally tried to throw it, but Rylee didn't catch it.

Way to go Logan!  It was so fun to watch you play another season and we are so proud of how much you improved and how ward you worked this season.
