Seven Peaks

June 22 - Darren's brother, Curt, lives in Texas and we really miss him and his family.  Rylee and Raegan are especially close little buddies and love spending time together and we hate that they live so far away.  They came into town this summer for a whole month for the wedding, so we bought the pass of all passes so that we could go to 7 peaks (aka the old Raging Waters in Salt Lake...)  while they were in town.  We had such a fun day there!  The kids LOVED the water park and played in the play land area all day.  Daddy and Uncle Curt even got to go down a few slides.  And mommy and Aunt Carla had a great time chatting in the shade.

A couple other cousins came, too.  Kim also had the pass and was going to join us, but Katey got sick.  But Grandma came and brought Hayden and Mason.  Mason and Logan are best buddies so it was great news for Logan!

The kiddie pool at 7 Peaks was so much fun for the kids!  The girls spent all day there running around and going down the little slides.  I love this picture of Avery! 

Raegan and Rylee went down this little slide over and over.  Rylee would SCREAM so loud!  She has one of those screams that is hard to mistake.  I knew it was her from clear across the water park! 

Logan ventured into the bigger pool and even attempted the rope swing!  It was hilarious to watch him up there thinking about it for so long, but he finally went.  He also really liked this "volcano" slide.  He also got me to take him to the Lazy River, but he kept floating away from me and it would take me forever to find him again since the river just keeps flowing...

He's got some style!

This trip was shortly after all the controversy over a mom getting kicked out of this water park for breast feeding her baby, so I was a little worried about what I would do with Bronson.  Lucky for me, no one seemed to mind.

We had such a fun day!  We love spending time with our cousins.  Boy, do we miss these guys!!!  We weren't sure if we would like Seven Peaks (Raging Waters...) with the kids, but they had so much fun that we planned to go back again another day in the summer.  Sadly, our summer ran out before we could make it back there, but we will definitely try and make it back next year.
