He's Here!!!

We are so excited to announce that we have a new little guy at our house!  Everything went great and we are loving our sweet baby boy!  I haven't had time to go through photos and blog and it might be awhile before I get his birth story all blogged, but here are a few pictures of our new addition.  He came just perfect with TONS of black hair and big eyes and gorgeous long eyelashes!  We are in LOVE!!!  

Bronson Chad Webber was born April 26.

 Bronson is a great baby so far!  He is so sweet and cuddly and we can't get enough of him.  His bilirubin was a little high to start off with, so have had to do the lights and lots of blood tests, but as of today, we are done!  Hooray!  I'm sure there will be lots more to come about our new little guy soon.  I just can't put him down long enough to get much done! 

Making our Announcement

Oct 29 - I was really cautious about telling anyone after we found out we were pregnant this time. I think I have had so many friends who have had problems or miscarriages that I just wanted to be cautious. I was mostly worried about telling our kids because I knew if something happened, they would be so disappointed. And I feel like they should be among the first to know, so I didn't want to tell anyone else either. (I did slip and tell my friend Summer and my sister Heather and our neighbor's the Bladens knew because they had seen our messy house and me in my sick state!) This meant that I told a few lies to people who asked if I was expecting or asked if we were going to have another one soon. But, I wasn't ready to tell. Anyway, Darren and I went to the Dr for my first appointment on Oct 25. Everything looked great and the ultrasound was good and it gave me a lot of comfort, so I decided it was time to tell the kids. Besides that, since this is my 4th and I was starting to show much sooner and knew it couldn't be a secret much longer anyway. I was already 13 weeks along so I couldn't hide it for long!

So, I had to figure out a way to do it. For all our other kids, we have made it kind of a big deal, so I felt like I had to keep up the tradition. It wasn't anything extravagant - it just had to be more than just telling them. So, on Saturday morning, we set up a little treasure hunt for them. It wasn't fancy at all, but with the ages they are, they LOVED it! I wish I would have kept all the little poems and clues that I used to go with it, but I didn't. Reading the first clue - Each little written clue also came with a baby item. This one was a blanket.

After that clue, we had the Justin Bieber song "Baby, Baby" playing (because we are cool like that) and had a little paper that said, "We are going to have a baby, baby, baby...oooh!" Darren and I sang it for them and gave them the paper which also had an ultrasound picture on it. They were pretty excited once they figured it out. Avery still walks around singing that version of the Bieber song. I love it!

Afterwards, I used an app on my phone to show them how big the baby was and what it looked like. They thought that was pretty cool. Next, we had to tell the family! I had already told my sister Heather. She was pregnant, too, and it just slipped out when I was talking on the phone one day. We went down to my parent's house to spend the weekend and the plan was to tell everyone the next morning, but Rylee walked right in and told my brother-in-law Brian as soon as we got there. So, it wasn't a surprise for Brian and Vanessa or Heather and Jay. We have already done a lot of different things to tell, so we made a candy bar poster this time.
Here is what it said.
(Sooo... We don't know yet if it will be a BIG HUNK or a BABY RUTH (but we DO know its NOT MIKE AND IKE) but we are having a bundle of JOY (Almond Joy). In May, our THREE MUSKETEERS will become four. You might SNICKER at our silly poster, but we thought you would find this announcement worth ONE HUNDRED GRAND.)

I don't think anyone was too surprised. Avery is two years old, so I guess they all figured it was about time. We showed it to my parents and brothers who live at home before church. The plan was to show my other siblings after church since they were all coming for dinner, but Heather and Jay already knew and so did Vanessa and Brian and then my kids left the poster just sitting out so Dean and Laura saw it before we even knew they came in. Oh well! Darren's parent's were in Texas visiting Darren's brother that lives there, so we used Facetime to talk to them and show them the poster. His mom put it on Facebook immediately, so there wasn't a chance to tell his other siblings. So.... the word was out! Baby #4 is on the way and due May 4th! Since I have C-Sections, it will probably be closer to the end of April. The kids are so excited and can't wait to find out what we are having!

BIG NEWS

September 2 - Our biggest news for the whole year of 2011 was that our cute little Three Musketeers will soon become the Fearsome FOUR!!!
(I wish I would have paid attention to the fact that the words on the test were upside down when I took this...) The month before, we thought I was pregnant for a week or two, but every test I took was negative and I ended up not being pregnant. I was a little happy about that because our new insurance was not in effect yet that offered maternity coverage (Avery cost $10,000!!!) and so timing and money wise it wouldn't have been the best thing, but I was also so sad! I realized how much I wanted a new baby in our home!

So, the next month, I thought I was pregnant again, but I was really hesitant to take the test because I didn't want to be disappointed again. I waited so long that as soon as I took the test, it changed immediately to two lines! Which meant pregnant!!! We are so excited!!! Our insurance worked out perfectly and the baby will be a Spring baby - which I love! I don't have to be pregnant in the hot summer months or worry as much about sicknesses until they are a little bigger. And hopefully the kids will get to visit the hospital this time, since they didn't with Avery.
It seems like forever since we have had a little baby, so I sometimes wonder if I can go back to all the getting up in the night and all the STUFF you need to leave the house and all of that, but when I think of having a tiny one in our house again, I am SO excited!!! There are days when I wonder if I can be the mom of four. Sometimes I wonder if I am even a good mom to THREE! But, I realize that Heavenly Father can make me equal to the task if I seek his help. I am trying harder to do that! The only bummer about the timing of the news was that I couldn't ride all the rides on our trip to Disneyland, but I think it was a pretty good trade off. I'm sure we will make other trips to Disney and I have ridden them all before!
So...the 9 month journey begins! By my calculations, my due date will be May 4th, but since I have C-sections they will move that up a week, so we should have a new little April baby! We can't wait to tell the kids - They will be so excited!

Avery!

We are now home from the hospital and I am adjusting to life at home with 3 little ones and on the road to recovery! Avery is the best little baby. She rarely cries and sleeps so great - We will see if that lasts. She has a very mellow personality and reminds me of Logan as a baby.
The kids were very excited for us to come home and meet Avery and are doing pretty well with her so far. Of course, Logan was more excited to see my stitches and scar than me, but he I think he is happy to have us home. No one has tried to pick Avery up alone or anything too dangerous yet and Avery is surving all the loves pretty well. There has been a little bit of jealousy, but nothing like I was expecting and Logan and Rylee both adore her! They do frequently tell me to "put her down" and have a lot of curiosity about how Avery eats - Logan asked why she was eating from my elbow, then looked closer and asked why she ate from my pecs. So funny!
We are so happy to have our new addition - I can't get enough of her and her sweet snuggles and can't seem to get much done because I never want to put her down! I love just laying her on my chest and watching her sleep - She is so sweet! She is starting to be more alert and looking around more and more. They grow up much too fast!!!
I have lots of pictures I need to post, but I can't find the camera cord, so the will have to wait.

A New Addition!

This isn't OUR new addition, but an addition to our extended family! On September 1st, my sister had her baby - Ethan Scott Clark! He weighed in at 6 lbs 3 oz and was 20 inches long. We drove down the next day to see the baby and the kids were So excited!!! Especially Rylee - We also picked up my other sister to go with us and on the way, Rylee told us "We have to do 2 things. Pick up Aunt Nessa and hold Baby Ethan!" She was super excited! We also coached her that she can only hold the baby with help, since I am a little worried about how our own baby will survive and she did great to tell everyone that she can only hold Ethan if they helped her. As soon as we walked in the room, she wanted to hold that baby, but had to wait her turn. Here she is sneaking her first peek at Baby Ethan.

Logan told me he didn't want to hold the baby before we got there, but once we were there, he was just as interested and sweet with the baby as Rylee. At least for a few minutes, and then he would be off eating the food off Heather's food tray and climbing all over the furniture!

Ethan is already 3 weeks old and growing like crazy! He is adorable and I am so excited for my sister and her hubby! They are loving their first sweet baby and my kids were so excited for their first cousin on my side of the family.

I THOUGHT this would be the perfect trial run of the whole baby and hospital thing for my kids, but unfortunately, I found out this week that my kids will NOT be able to visit me in the hospital. Due to swine flu concerns, the hospital has a policy of no visitors under the age of 14. I was SO upset at first (and still am...) and had a major breakdown and lots of crying. The kids were so sweet about it - They saw I was crying and wanted to comfort me and when I told them why I was upset, Logan told me, "Its Ok Mommy. Your dr will be there to take care of you." I don't think they really get what it means that they won't be able to visit me at the "hopsital" as Rylee calls it. It wouldn't be that bad if I had regular deliveries, but with a C-Section, that is a long time for me not to see my kids and for the kids not to meet their new sister. I understand that there is a need for precautions right now, but I am just so bummed! I feel like the siblings should be the FIRST ones to see the baby, even before grandparents, because it is THEIR life that is being affected so much. I was looking at the pictures of when Logan came to meet Rylee and that made me cry even more - It was such a special thing and I am bummed my kids won't have that experience. I guess they will have it when she comes home, but they will have to wait for a few days. I am also so bummed because I bought the kids the cutest little BIG brother and BIG sister shirts, as well as some fun surprises for when they visited the hospital. Darren reminds me that I am probably so upset because I had everything planned out the way I wanted it and now I won't get to have it that way, which is probably part of it, but I still think it is sad. Maybe I will get a little more rest in the hospital, but I would much rather be able to see my kids. I have so many new worries and concerns now - Will the kids resent the baby more? Will they do OK with having me gone so long? Will they still bond with the baby? Hopefully, when I come home from the hospital they will still be excited to meet the baby and they will have a special experience then.

Three-Quarters

Well, it is now official! I am 3/4 of the way done being pregnant! Only 9 more weeks to go! Nothing much has changed. I have gained about 15 pounds to date and am starting the dreaded 2 week appointments, so I guess I will be spending a lot more time at my Dr's office. The summer has finally gotten much hotter and the heat is getting a little uncomfortable with my huge belly. I have also picked up the pregnancy waddle much more than I remember with my other kids and was told that I am looking "much more pregnant" than with my last two. Gotta love that!
I am starting to get into that nesting phase and stress a little about being prepared for baby. The good news is that with baby #3, there isn't too much to buy so it hasn't been as hard to feel ready. We did get a bassinet the other day, so I think we are pretty close to being set, besides figuring out how to get a 3rd car seat in the car! There shouldn't be too much to worry about after having 2 babies, but I seem to find plenty of things to stress about! Mostly, I am pretty worried about going back to baby phase! Things have been pretty comfortable around here for the last year or so - Kids are sleeping through the night, we can leave the house without packing everything we own, and we are so close to having no more diapers. Getting up in the night, lots of messy diapers, breastfeeding and all of those things seem so long ago and leave me a little worried, not to mention fearing for the new baby's safety with my 2 "helpers" who will I'm sure spoil and scare our new addition! Also, baby #3 is still without a name! Just one more thing to worry about!
The baby is REALLY active lately and I am wondering if she is actually going to wait another 9 weeks! We have been to Harry Potter and Kenny Chesney in the last few weeks and with all the noise, the baby was going crazy the whole time! Let's hope she can wait a little longer!!! The countdown to baby has really begun...

Baby Update!

Since I am now in my FINAL tri-mester (yeah!) of pregnancy, I figured it is time for another little baby update. I am now 28 weeks!!! The time has gone by really fast and I don't know if I am really prepared to be a mother of 3....some days 2 seems pretty rough! I am excited to meet our new little one though and the kids are SO excited, especially Rylee. I think she will have so much fun picking out clothes for the baby and being my helper.
I have now gained about 10 pounds and survived the glucose test, which may very well be the worst part of pregnancy! I have MAJOR problems with needles, but I am getting better thanks to pregnancy and all the blood draws that go with it. After my appointment next week, I will be going every 2 weeks, so that means the end is near!
Our little girl is quite active and Darren doesn't even have to "feel" her move anymore. We can both just sit and watch my tummy dance all over the place. Her movements are not too subtle! I have also picked up the pregnancy "waddle" and feel much more pregnant than I did with my first 2! I have a lot more pressure and walking can be quite painful at times, but apparently that is normal for your third. The good news is she is so low that I have no pain in my ribs like I did with my first 2 and I am sleeping great!
We are narrowing down our list of names, and I think we are close to deciding, but are still not too sure. There are a lot of names I like, but nothing is really standing out as "THE name" like with Logan and Rylee. I thought about posting a poll, but I don't really want bad opinions of a name I like or we end up using. I keep meaning to take a prego picture, but I haven't. I think I am much bigger than my first 2 pregnancies, so I don't feel "cute" pregnant and don't want to document it, but I need to. I don't think I will be posting pics on the blog though.

Baby Update

Today I went to the Dr for another baby appointment. It was your standard, boring appointment of pee in a cup and all of that. (Next appointment is Glucose test...fun!!!) Everything looks great with Baby #3. (Who has yet to be named and Darren informed me today that we are not discussing names until at least September, so she will remain unnamed for awhile....) I am now at about 24 weeks, and am measuring right on. I have gained 7 lbs so far, but feel MUCH larger for some reason. I think my stomach is extra stretchy the third time around! Because of that, I don't think I'll be posting any belly pictures.
The baby has started to be much more active. I don't feel her much during the day, but at night, I think she does somersaults because she is all over the place! She seems to be nocturnal, which might be a bad sign. Darren was able to feel her move for the first time at 21 weeks (May 21) and can now feel her all the time. Logan always wants to feel her, but she is never moving until he is asleep. He tells me he feels her moving all the time, though, so I guess as long as he THINKS he is, we are good. Rylee is VERY anxious for the baby to "come out" and asks constantly if the baby is coming out today. She was VERY upset that she wasn't able to go and "see the baby" today at my appointment since my last appointment was the ultrasound and she "saw" the baby on the screen. She is also still convinced she also has a "baby in her tummy".
Here are a few of the cravings I've had so far with baby #3: Taco Bell or any sort of bean and cheese burrito (this is always my biggest craving! Weird, because I usually don't really like Taco Bell...), Slurpee's or Smoothies or Sonic Slushes (Happy Hour is great there!), Jelly Beans, Mike and Ikes or other fruity candy or Popsicles, Cafe Rio, and Ramen Noodles (mostly around 11 at night....). I'm sure I have a few more, but that is all I can think of at the moment. I have noticed with Logan I loved chocolate and other stuff, but with the girls, I like Fruity and sweet stuff. Since I am scheduled for a C-Section at 39 weeks, I now have 24 weeks down and only 15 to go!!!

Our Ultrasound

We had the ultrasound for Baby #3 on Wednesday, May 13th. The kids were pretty excited to go back to the Dr office to see the "baby in mommy's tummy". They thought the ultrasound was really neat and especially liked hearing and seeing the baby's heartbeat and liked the body parts that they could identify - like the feet and hands and head. Logan paid a lot more attention than I thought he would and was pretty into everything. Rylee watched for a little bit and then was more interested in flipping power switches and other things.
Our little one was pretty active and was moving constantly so it was hard for the tech to get great shots. It was the best ultrasound I have had in terms of being able to see everything. We even saw the baby's little mouth open and close, which the tech said is pretty rare to see. Darren and I both kind of had the feeling that the baby was a girl, but Logan was convinced otherwise. When the Ultrasound tech told us that the baby was a GIRL, poor little Logan was not too happy with the news that the baby was a girl! On the way to the ultrasound, he was talking all about seeing his new baby brother. I told him that it might be a sister, and he said that it was a brother. We asked him how he knew that, and he said "I just know already. I'm smart." Even after the ultrasound tech announced that it was a girl, Logan kept saying "Oh, look at that cute baby boy!" and "There is my baby brother!" It took some convincing to tell him that it was not a boy and then he was pretty upset. He kept saying "I don't want a girl baby" and "I already have a sister, Mom!" On the drive home, he had a bit of a meltdown and yelled "I don't want a girl baby!" I told him that Aunt Heather was having a boy baby, so he could still have a boy cousin, but that wasn't enough for him. He said "I want OUR baby to be a boy baby!" When we got home, he refused to come into the house and when I asked him why, he said "I'm not coming in because our baby is a girl!" Poor kid! We finally got him to come in the house and Darren convinced him that it was going to be cool to be the only boy and be Daddy's special buddy and that they can do lots of cool things - just the two of them! They talked about football games and campouts and other things that would be just for boys and Logan decided that sounded pretty good. At nap time, he said to me "Mom, I'm getting excited for my baby sister now!" It was very sweet! He still occasionally mentions that he wishes the baby was a boy, but I think he is doing much better now! Rylee is just happy to talk about a baby - She could care less whether it was a girl or boy baby. She might care in a few years when her sister wants to borrow her clothes or use the phone, but for now, she is OK with it. These are the pics that prove our baby is a girl. Apparently, it is a pretty clear shot. Our tech told us "I'm trying to make it a boy, but this one is definitely a girl!" I guess we can start picking out PINK!

Now for the hard part....the name! Darren doesn't like to talk about names before we know the sex because he says that we don't need to fight over 2 names when we could just fight over 1! I have a list of about 8 or so girl names that I like, but none are sticking out too much yet. With Logan and Rylee, we knew the names we wanted right away, but this one has been different. Darren wants to wait until she is born, so I guess we will narrow down our list and see what she looks like and then decide.

I am SO far behind on our blog postings (besides this one, which is current!) I have lots of things that we have been doing lately - Rylee's birthday, Easter, baby animal days, the move.... So hopefully, I will do some catch up soon!

IT'S A....

GIRL!!!!

That is all I have time for right now, but more news about the ultrasound (and Logan's reaction!) to come soon!

We're In....

We are finally moved....sort of! We are still living out of boxes, and probably will be for quite awhile but it does feel great to be done moving and in our OWN place! The kids are loving having a little more space, and I am loving that they have a play room to hang out in and reduce messes downstairs and in their rooms! The only bummer is that there is no place for them to really play outside, since we only have weeds and it has been raining so much that our yard is MUD! They do love to go find bugs and stuff and we are HOPING to get our yard in this summer, but it will be a huge project! We also LOVE our beautiful view of the valley - It is so pretty and green right now - I will have to post a picture soon. The best part is our great view of the Logan temple! We love being able to see it so well!
With all this house hunting and moving, we have apparently been talking a little too much about houses and their features. Logan has started saying "that is a nice house" or "wow! That house is beautiful" or "That looks like a great house" when we are out driving around. The other day, he was in his car seat and all of a sudden piped up with "To have 850 square feet, you have to have a lot of attitude!" WHAT? I have no idea where that came from, but it was pretty funny! I guess we must discuss square feet a lot! He also started talking about "caulking" things the other day - I think that came from our inspection and walk through. He has had a lot of fun helping Darren put in the mailbox and a few other fun "handy" things that he has done around the house.
We are trying to get settled and finally now have TV and internet and all our appliances in and working after a dishwasher leak and a few other small hangups. Logan also loved having all the repair guys here and liked to talk to them about what they were working on and other random things, like his NINJA SKILLS!
Rylee is also now sleeping in her BIG GIRL BED and doing great! We put the crib into the baby's room and just put a new bed into Rylee's when we moved. I worried it might be a little TOO much adjusting all at once, but she has done great! I think it helped that the first couple of nights she went to bed SO late and was so tired! There was one night when she came out of her room two or three times, but other than that, she has done great! I will have to add a picture of her soon, when I find my camera cable! Naptime is another story..... Now we just need blinds so our kids stop waking up at 6:30 every morning with the sun!!!
In other news, we have the ultrasound for baby #3 next week, so we will be finding out soon what this little baby is! The baby has started to move a little more and the last couple of days I have felt it several times! I love this part of pregnancy - Not too sick and not TOO fat...yet! I don't know what poor Logan will do if it is a girl - He is SO set on a boy and won't hear talk of anything else! I guess we will see!!!

Moving!!!

After a REALLY long and dramatic week, we are F I N A L L Y moving into our new house and are so happy about it!
On Monday, (2 days before closing) we got a phone call from the bank saying that our loan couldn't go through!!! This was less than 48 hours before we were supposed to close and the idiot had NO idea that we were closing in 2 days, and that hadn't even looked at our file until then! I ended up bawling and asked the guy what we were supposed to do, and his response was that he wouldn't charge us for our appraisal and hopefully our realtor would be a nice guy and refund our earnest money. HELLO!!! We were going to be out a lot more than that! We already had appliances being delivered and had no place to live in a few days! After a few phone calls, I called him back to suggest a solution and he said the loan was back on and we could close on Wednesday as planned. I was so bugged that he had not suggested a solution, but I had to figure something out on my own. Doesn't he want us to use them for a loan???
Tuesday morning, I called to check on things and he tells me that he is meeting with the underwriters to see if this is going to work. That is after he told me that everything was good to go! I was SO frustrated at this point, but there had been 6 other offers on the house since ours was accepted, so it was really too late to try and change lenders or anything. He called a little later to say he had 2 of 3 signatures and was just waiting on the last one and everything looked great. Then a few hours later he called to tell me that they had entered some information wrong and now things weren't going to work again! At least this time, he offered another solution and we were able to work around it, but we were going to be pushed back on our close. The kicker to me was a phone call from the bank on Thursday saying that we weren't going to get the state grant we had applied for because now we made TOO much money! It didn't make any sense! It almost became funny to me!
After a few more hangups, the bank finally pushed our application through and thanks to a great title company, we were able to close, fund and record on Friday, which isn't very common, and get keys and start moving in! My mom took the kids for the night on Friday so we were able to get a lot done this weekend. We took the kids over to the house today and they are really excited about the house! They love having space to play and think the new house is so great! They were a little confused when they came home from Grandma's and some of their stuff was missing....especially Rylee's kitchen. She was pretty stressed over it! We are really excited to be settled and even MORE excited to be done with all the loan stuff and will be even MORE excited when we are through with moving!!!
In other news, I have started feeling the little baby in my tummy move this week. (The first time was Thursday, April 24th). I guess all this stress and craziness has the little one going crazy, too!!! Our ultrasound is scheduled for May 13th and we are very excited to find out if it is a little girl or little boy!

Announcing Some Expansions....

I haven't been too great at keeping up on my blog lately (or much of anything else in my life either!!!) I have been meaning to get this post done for a couple of weeks, but things have been crazy and I have a few good excuses for not getting to it. By now, most of you have already heard our news, but in case you haven't, we have some exciting news!!! (It would have been MORE exciting if it was posted awhile ago, but what can you do???) Anyway....

We are E X P A N D I N G our home in a few ways....

First of all, we are expanding our home by 2 FEET (baby feet that is....) and growing from 4 Webbers to 5! We are adding Baby #3 and are really excited for our latest addition! I am now 16 weeks along, and finally starting to feel back to normal...besides my ever growing tummy! I think I'm going to be HUGE this time! This has been my hardest pregnancy so far, maybe because I am taking care of 2 little ones, but I can't complain too much. I don't super sick - I don't throw up a lot (just when I brush my teeth!!!) I am mostly just really nauseous and SO tired! I fall asleep on the couch at like 9 every night!!!
We found out in late January that we were expecting and decided that we should keep it a secret for awhile. I took the pregnancy test and it IMMEDIATELY showed a positive, so there were no doubts or retests this time! Somehow, we managed to keep our secret until mid-March before we really told anyone, which is a major accomplishment for me to keep my mouth shut!

Baby Webber #3 is due

October 2, 2009,

but will probably make an earlier appearance. I have scheduled C-Sections due to complications in previous pregnancies, so they have already moved me up a week, and it is very likely that I will be moved up another week or 2 before all is said and done. So, we are expecting this baby to join our family in mid-late September and we are SO excited!!! My sister is due September 14 with her first, so it should make things really interesting in our family! It will be so great for my kids to have a Boman cousin and for this baby to have a cousin SO close!

We announced our great news to our families in Mid-March by wearing these fun shirts to a couple family functions. If you can't tell, Logan's shirt says "Thing 1", Rylee's says "Thing 2" and mine says "Thing 3". I have always done something fun to announce my pregnancy and felt like we had to continue the trend for this new baby, so they could feel special, too. Darren actually came up with the shirt idea and made them on the computer. I thought they turned out really cute and I think we will make a new Thing 3 shirt for the baby when they are born! I think our family's were a little surprised, but not too much. I think they have been expecting an announcement from us soon anyway. Here is the 1st ultrasound at about 12 weeks. Isn't our little peanut cute? I thought I wanted this baby to be a surprise since we already have one of each, but I can't take it! I have to know the sex of the baby!!! We can find out in a few weeks and I am really anxious! Poor Logan wants a BOY so bad! He is so funny - If we say, "What if its a girl?" he responds with "What if its a boy!" and if we talk about names, he only wants to talk about boy names! (So far, his best suggestion has been Phineas or Ferb....hmmm...not sure those are going to work!) If we say it might be a sister, he tells us that he already has one! I think Rylee is enough to try his patience at times and he isn't too excited about the idea of another girl in the family. I hope he isn't too heartbroken if the news is different.... Logan and Rylee are both pretty excited about the baby! Besides wanting a boy, Logan is also very interested in the size of the baby and wants to know how big the baby is all the time. I have a little book that compares the baby to fruit, so we have gone from "the baby is the size of a lime" to a lemon and now an apple and I think it will be something different today. He is really funny about being careful around my belly and likes to talk to the baby in this soft, sweet voice and pat my tummy - it is very cute! Rylee LOVES babies and I am a little worried for this baby's safety with her around - I think she will try to carry it, feed it, burp it and change its diaper all by herself, which would be great if she was a little bigger, but at her size, it might be a little dangerous! Both kids went to my first ultrasound and loved seeing the baby on the screen and Rylee talks about it all the time. She tells everyone that "Mommy go to doctor and he check her baby in her belly." She is also convinced that SHE has a baby in her tummy, too, so that could get interesting when it is time for delivery! The Dr was very cute with the kids at my appointment and even gave them each their own ultrasound picture, which they loved and thought was so special.

We feel so blessed to have another little one, and a little overwhelmed! #3 means being outnumbered and buying a new vehicle and needing some more space, but I am sure that everything will work out great and I know that these little ones are so worth all the worry and effort and money that it takes to get them here!!!

This brings us to e x p a n s i o n announcement #2.... We are expanding by square feet as well as baby feet! We have purchased a new home and should be moving in a week or two! We are VERY excited to have our first real home with no shared walls or ceilings and a yard and some more space for our family! We had driven by this home a few times and were kind of interested, and then the price dropped, so we decided to check it out. We LOVED it, but with Darren being self-employed, we were having a hard time getting someone to finance us. We got a phone call one day saying there was an offer on the house, so we needed to act quick, so I spent the day on the phone and found someone to finance us and a realtor and we made an offer that afternoon and by 5:00 that night, we were home owners!!! CRAZY how quickly things can happen! We are so excited and love our new house. It is a 2 story with no basement. I love that all the bedrooms are on the same level upstairs. Here are a few pictures of the inside. Another bedroom - There are 5 in the house so I even get a scrapbook room! Wahoo!!!The bonus room - I am REALLY excited for this room to have as a play room for the kids! Lots of space for them to run and play!

Now that we have a house, my wish list for things keep growing and growing.... I want lots of new furniture and a million other things! I'm sure it will take a LONG time to get things the way we want, but we are excited to get started! It has been a long road for us to have a home! First on the list for us will be putting in a yard, since it is a new home! Yikes!!! That scares me a little but Darren likes working in the yard, so I think he is pretty excited! Our first project will be sprinklers......I'm sure there will be plenty of posts about this stuff to come! Now for the hard part....MOVING! If I don't post again for awhile, you will know why!
