Oct 26 - 27 - One of our favorite Halloween activities each year is carving pumpkins. Our daddy is a pretty good Jack-O-Latern artist and the kids love finding cool patterns for him to use on their pumpkins. That means that Daddy really does pretty much all the carving and the rest of us just pick our patterns. I usually make one but I didn't this year. We ended up doing our pumpkins a couple of different days because we didn't seem to all be home at the same time or have enough time to do them all at once.
Rylee with her pumpkin she picked at the pumpkin patch. We got her pumpkin done first since it was a non-preschool day and Logan was at school. Here is the pattern she picked - Rapunzel!
Digging out the guts
Getting a little help from Avery - That is some pouty look on her face!
Rylee is a great guts scooper! She is not afraid to get in there and get dirty and loves helping to clean the pumpkin.
Her finished pumpkin! Daddy did a great job on RapunzelThe next day we got Logan's pumpkin done. He is quite the opposite of Rylee and wanted no part of the scooping. We made him help a little anyway, but it is not his thing! Logan's pumpkin was Boba Fett from Star Wars
He loves his pumpkin!
Avery and her cute little pumpkin!
Daddy picked a Winnie the Pooh pumpkin for Avery.
Our cute pumpkins all lit up and ready for Halloween - Rapunzel, Winnie the Pooh and Boba Fett. Thanks for the awesome carving Daddy!
