Officially 3!!!

Wow! Lately, I feel totally buried!!! My house is such a mess and I feel like there is no way to dig myself out - I don't even know where to begin! My blog is months behind and no sign of closing in and I have a million projects that need to be done, but I just can't seem to make a dent. Does anyone else ever get this way??? I am going crazy! Maybe if I stayed up for 2 days straight with no distractions.... I just wish there was a way to accomplish something in our many hours driving in the car. I feel like we spend our lives in the car right now between errands and trips to see family. Or if I could finish a project during the 8 hours of swimming lessons I will log over the next 2 weeks. Oh well - Just more things to feel guilty about as a mom, right?

Yes....Here is ONE more post about our sweet Rylee's birthday 2 months ago.....
I know that Ry had 2 fun birthday parties, but I still felt it was important to celebrate on her actual birthday. Darren had a late day at work, so when she woke up, we started by opening up her presents. I loved this and think it may be our new tradition - It was like Christmas morning, only just for Ry and that is just how birthdays should be!
Our cute Ry with her stack of PINK presents!

This is a girl of many faces....
One more silly pose
She was so excited to get started opening her gifts! Here she is in her new Princess lawn chair.
She also got the Princess and The Frog movie
She keeps asking for a Prince for her Princesses. I found her a Little People one and she loved it.
Clothes....They are not too exciting I guess....She just tossed them out of the bag and was on to the next present.
Avery was being so cute that morning playing with her toys. She was so happy!
I love the look on her face while she is ripping the paper.
Logan got Rylee a Queen Amidala action figure. He wanted to find her a Princess Leia, but we couldn't find one anywhere. Kind of a funny present, but Rylee loved it. Now she can play Star Wars with her big brother.
Hugs for Logan - Ry is so good to say thanks and give hugs to everyone.
A cute Belle doll from Avery
Sister hugs
Ry got a Look and Find Princess book and she was so excited about this! She loves the one at Grandma's house and Logan's Lightning McQueen one and she is so fast at spotting things.
A BIG Dora puzzle. Rylee is REALLY into Puzzles right now and can do them really fast.
A Princess shirt. Do you think she likes Princesses?
A Princess purse. Funny story about the purse.... A couple weeks before her birthday, she was saying her prayers. All she said was "Heavenly Father" and then "Amen". Darren told her she needed to say more than that. He explained that when we pray we should say thank you for our blessings and ask for things we need or want. He had her try again. This time she said "Heavenly Father, Thanks for the blessings. I want a Pink Princess Purse. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen". It made me laugh! I had kind of forgotten about it and then a few days before her birthday, someone asked what she wanted and she said a Pink Princess Purse. Luckily, we found one!
Ry with her loot! I love birthdays and sometimes I go a little overboard....But it is hard not to when you have such a cute and fun little girl! Just for my own journling, here is what she got: clothes, Princess PJs, Little People Prince, Queen Amidala, Belle Barbie, a couple of books, including a Princess look and find book, a Dora puzzle, a Magnetic Princess doll (like the ones we saw at the Gateway museum that she loved!), the Princess and the Frog movie, a Pink Princess Purse, a Princess lawn chair, a Little People Amusement Park set, a crown and a Belle dress.
Rylee dressing up her magnetic Princess doll. This was her favorite thing at the Children's Museum we went to a few weeks before so I really wanted to get her one and she loved it!
Ry trying on her Princess Tiana wedding dress - She LOVES the veil!
Ry in her new Cinderella dress - She loved trying on all her new dressups!
Avery loved Ry's new amusement park - Especially the lights and music!
We had a great time putting together Rylee's cute new amusement park - It came with a roller coaster, teacups, and a ferris wheel. It is the perfect thing for her and Logan to do together. (and soon Avery!)
Ry chose chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and then had a fun morning playing with her daddy. He is the best and she loves spending time with her. He is a great sport to join in her Princess games. Lately, she is really into Ariel, and he is "Prince Eric" most of the time, but he goes along with it great and they have so much fun together!
After lunch and daddy headed to work, we headed over to Rylee's best friend Madi's house. They share a birthday and we decided to let them spend the afternoon together. Our plan was to go to the Treehouse Museum, but we found out it closed early on Mondays and so we had to make an alternate plan. The girls didn't care at all that we weren't going, as long as they could spend the day together. They are such cute Princesses!

We even had cake and candles, because you have to have those at a birthday party, right?
Ry blowing out candles....again!

Our plan switched from the Treehouse Museum to watching Princess and the Frog and eating popcorn and the girls were totally fine with that.
After Madi's house, I had to make a quick trip to the mall. The kids were SO happy to play in the play area and I thought this funny cupcake would be an appropriate picture.
When Daddy got done at work, we met him for dinner at Winger's. It was Rylee's choice. It was funny because we had never even been there before, but she was insistent that was what she wanted. Funny girl!
Rylee with her special birthday dessert
Even though Rylee got a ice cream dessert at dinner, I still felt like she should have birthday cake ON her birthday. So, we sang one more time (even though it was almost 9 pm) and let Ry blow out the candles one more time and dug into her pretty, Princess cake.
Yummm....Birthday cake! We love our birthday girl!!!
