Feb 17 - We finally had a day to play in the snow! It seems like we have been traveling or really busy or it has just been too cold to play whenever we have had enough snow to play in. And then when we get around to going out, the snow is gone or it was that crusty snow that no one wants to play in. We finally had a good storm and nothing to do that day! Rylee begged to go out all morning but Logan didn't seem to care, so once he was off to school the girls and I got all bundled up and headed out. They had a great time!
The first time we went out to play this year, Avery lasted about 2 minutes, so I was reluctant to get her all suited up to go out again, but she was begging to go out, so we tried it. She lasted much longer this time and seemed to really enjoy it, although this picture was not her favorite! She didn't like laying in the cold snow, and I don't really blame her! Rylee made snow angel after snow angel, but Avery wasn't really liking that.

Rylee stayed out for a good hour and a half! She was having so much fun!!!
It seems like eating snow off their mittens is always a favorite part of playing in the snow!
Cute sisters
Avery loved when we got out this chair and she could chill and watch for awhile. I think walking around in all that snow got exhausting for her poor, little legs.
Daddy came home from work after we had been out there for a bit and had a great idea to pull them around in the sled. They loved it!
As soon as he turned a corner, poor Avery tumbled out and face planted in the snow. It was so sad, but a little funny! When Daddy picked her up, her poor little face was covered with snow and she didn't know if she should laugh or cry! She cried...we laughed a little...
Daddy decided to do the sled ride with her lying down and even though he would get going pretty fast and she would look completely terrified, she just kept saying and signing "mo, mo" (more) over and over! She is a bit of a daredevil!
Love this baby!
Looking up at Daddy! I love those eyes and lashes!
Kisses
Ry eating some snow. Even after Avery came in, she just wanted to stay out and play. She really wanted to build a snowman, but it wasn't the right kind of snow for that. It just wouldn't work no matter how hard we tried! She did LOTS of snow angels and just played and played and ate snow.
After I went in and got Avery down for her nap, I peeked out and saw these two still playing away. I don't really know what they were playing but they were having a great time! Ry was just chatting away up in her little clubhouse to daddy. Isn't he the best daddy ever? I love watching them together!
