Love, Sweet Love! Part 1

I LOVE holidays! I LOVE to do fun things with the kids for the holidays and especially when the holidays celebrate LOVE and each other! We had a great Valentine's Day this year! I am so in LOVE with all four of my cute Valentine's and had such a great day with them. We started with breakfast -
Sweet little Avery came down, got out a huge stack of plastic plates and did this to the table...
She was SO proud of herself! And I was shocked! I had no idea she could manage that...and all by herself too!
Here are my cute Valentine's enjoying breakfast. We had chocolate chip pancakes (the kids' fav) and the whole plan was to dye them red for Valentine's, but I just started making them and forgot! I hate when I do stuff like that! (I also forgot the red jello jigglers for dinner the night before, then for lunch and dinner on Valentines! We ended up having them a few days later...)We also had red juice and strawberries and bananas.
I love chocolate chip pancake faces!

This girl is a bit of a mess, but she is still a cute little stinker! She got into some stickers that morning and that is why she has that little bling on her lip.
Then, we gave the kid's their special Valentine buckets. I love that mom and dad actually get to take credit for the presents for this holiday! They had a Dr Seuss book, some candy and fun little treats and one special toy. Logan's was a General Grievous action figure - with FOUR lightsabers! He LOVED that!
Rylee LOVED her little Tinkerbell doll. Avery got a cute little set of pink keys with a remote, since she always wants to steal moms. However, she only seemed to care about the candy...
Ry always loves to show each and every item to the camera. I love it!
Rylee was overjoyed with this bundle of suckers! She is VERY expressive, if you can't tell...and Avery is still eating candy!
Logan liked his book of dinosaur mazes, too.

When we tried to take Avery's candy, she tried to hide it behind her back. She wasn't giving it back!
She didn't even have the patience to take the wrapper off!
Ry and her Tink!
Logan and Grievous
Avery didn't even care about the keys - She was more interested in the remote!
Darren and I also heart attacked each of the kid's doors with a few things that we loved about each of them. They loved the surprise! Logan really enjoyed reading all of his.
Avery's said We love Avery because...: So much personality! You are so funny!; You have the funniest facial expressions and make us laugh; You are so sweet! We love your kisses! MUAH!; WE love how much you love your family; You are learning so much; We love how you drag around your blankie; You are so cute!!!
We love Rylee because... You have a great imagination; Sweet girl; You are a good friend and sister; You love to make others happy; Good helper; You are so creative and artistic! We love all your pictures and projects; You are beautiful! Amazing just the way you are! (This is her new favorite song (the one by Bruno Marz) She loves it and sings it to Mommy all the time to tell me I'm beautiful just the way I am, just like we sing it to her. She is so sweet!)
We Love Logan because.... You are a sports nut and the BIGGEST Aggie fan we know! We love it!; We love your sweet dance moves; So sweet!; Great big brother; Funny!!!; You LOVE life!; You are so smart and love to learn new things.
Avery kept finding candy laying around all day long! It kept her VERY happy! She had a great Valentine's day!
For lunch, I made heart shaped PB&J. My other kids weren't too thrilled, but Avery was in LOVE! Look at her go!!!

Love the Peanut Butter and Jelly face!
This is what she does when she is done with her food lately - She picks up her plate and tries to hand it to me and says "duh" for done. So cute! Sometimes she attempts to carry it to the sink...that can be a little scary! She loves to help!
Just before Logan left for school, Cupid left some candy on the porch for all the kids! They each loved their little box of special chocolates. Logan had been asking all morning when Cupid was going to come, because he came last year. Good thing he remembered!
These are the Valentine's Logan chose this year. You could make them into a little soccer goal and ball to play a game with. I had to take a picture because I loved that he decorated their jerseys and gave them numbers! Just so Logan!
That was our morning! Then, Logan went off to school and the rest will have to be part 2...
