GNO and Boys Night

Feb 25 - Girls Night Out!!! Woot Woot! We girls had a really fun night going to the USU-Utah gymnastics meet. We were able to go with some of our friends. Here are the girls with some friends before the meet started.
Hallie, Rylee, Savannah and Avery
Isn't she cute? She loved clapping for the gymnastics girls! A few other friends also joined us there - Jill Watkins and her girls and also the Jackmans and Robinsons. I didn't get my camera back out after we sat down though. We had a fun night! It got a little long for the girls. By the time it was over, they all thought they were gymnasts themselves and were attempting some tricks on the chairs. Luckily, we made it out with no injuries! USU lost by a lot, but we saw some great gymnastics and had lots of fun!

We told the girls we would go out for ice cream after. We went outside and it was a CRAZY snow storm! The van was sliding all over, but we still braved the storm and made the trip to Charlie's. The girls loved it!

Avery soaking wet from all the snow, but LOVING her ice cream!!!

While we were there, the boys were having their own fun night. Dad and Logan went to watch the USU Hockey game. Logan cried when I mentioned to him that we might be going to a gymnastics meet, so I decided they should do their own thing... The Aggies were in the Region playoffs and beat Texas A&M by about 15-1 and advanced to the next round. Logan's buddy Carter went along and they had a great time! Here they are with the Texas Roadhouse Armadillo. Kind of random...

I can't remember if it was at this game or another hockey game they went to, but Logan saw Tai Wesley, his favorite Aggie player. He just went up and kind of tugged on his pants and said "Hey" to him. He was so excited to see him and I think that he thought Tai would know who he was. Such a funny boy! Our friend is the manager at the ice arena and he hooked Logan up with a ride on the Zamboni. Pretty sweet! He was really nervous and didn't want to do it at first, but Dad made him and he LOVED it! So fun!!! Our kids love Boys' and Girls' nights out!
