Yee-Haw!

August 9 - A summer wouldn't be complete without going to the fair and the rodeo.  I don't know what the best part of the fair is - The activities, the food or the people watching!  There are some interesting people!  The kids liked the animals and walking around. We had a lot of fun just hanging out there for a few hours.

Looking at the lambs.  Avery was so funny.  She was looking at one of them and one made a really loud sound and scared her so bad!
Looking at the baby pigs!  They were really cute!  They were nursing and it was funny to watch the kids watch them - I wish I could remember some of their funny comments!
Checking out the chickens and bunnies
Bronson loved the chickens!  He was so interested in them.
Logan
Daddy liked the chickens, too.
Cute little Bronson cruising around in his stroller.  I love his big grins and those BIG eyes!
He's such a happy guy!
The kids love the rides at the fair and were so excited to try some!  Before we left, the kids did some chores.  Logan earned 3 rides, but the girls weren't as helpful and only got to choose 1 ride each.  Logan and Avery chose the Ferris wheel and they loved it!

Rylee waving at Daddy from the top of the ferris wheel.  And mommy and Bronson, too.
Logan enjoying the ride.  His poor allergies get so bad at the fair and his little eyes were almost swollen shut by the end of the day.
Miss A
Logan and Rylee chose the mini roller coaster.  They loved it and I was cracking up at their faces!  You would think it was some giant roller coaster with the expressions they were pulling!

For his last ride, Logan picked these swings.  Every year he usually does this fun house thing.  I think he mostly picks it because of the fake Harry Potter characters painted on the side.  This year, they changed the theme so it wasn't Harry Potter so I think it kind of lost its appeal for Logan. He still wanted to do it, but it was closed down so he ended up on the swings.  They looked like more fun anyway.

Aug 11 - We went to the rodeo and had a great time!  Avery was SO excited to wear her cowgirl boots and looked SO cute!  She couldn't wait to go see the horses and wanted me to take her picture with boots.
A little bit of attitude.

The rodeo crew all ready to head out.  Avery and her faces....
Bronson slept through our little photo shoot.  Here he is all loaded up and ready to head out, sound asleep!

At the rodeo.  This was one of the craziest rodeos I've ever seen!  There were several cowboys that got injured from bull riding and one bull even threw the rider with his horns after he was on the ground!  The kids had a great time - Rylee loved the Princesses, Avery loved the Indian bareback riders and Logan loved the bulls!
She loves horses!  She was pretty into the whole night.

Bronson at the rodeo

Cheering for the cowboys.
Bron got pretty fussy by the end of the night.  The rodeo went pretty late.  I found a spot to feed him and he fell asleep for the last half hour or so.  I am so glad that he goes with the flow so well so we can still go and do fun things as a family!  We had a great time together!
