Easter Morning

I have made a few current posts lately, but it is time to get back to updating and catching up. I am THREE months behind! YIKES! Since it is the 4th of July, I guess it is time to do some Easter blogging...

The kids were really excited for the Easter bunny this year. We usually have the Easter bunny come to our house on Saturday so that we have Sunday to focus on the real meaning of Easter, but with the wedding and everything, it didn't really work out this year, so the Easter Bunny came Sunday morning. It worked out OK since we didn't have church because of Conference. We had a fun morning searching for eggs!
Here they come - Ready to find some eggs! Don't mind Rylee's birthday Princess decorations in the background. It took awhile for me to get all of that stuff down. Rylee was REALLY into looking for eggs this year. I think it was the first time she really got it and she found way more than Logan. He was too busy looking for his basket!

Look how excited she is!!!

Ry's Princess egg
Ry finding her basket and some PINK Peeps! She was in heaven with those.
Logan finally found his basket! I think he found just about everyone else's, too.
Logan looking VERY excited about his basket - Some Blue peeps and a cars coloring poster
I love my little Miss organization - She always arranges everything just so and lays it all out. It cracks me up!
Ry's stuff was all PINK! Pink M&M's, Pink Bubbles, Pink Peeps, a few other candies, a Pink Princess coloring thing and a Pink my little pony. She also got a Zhu-Zhu Pet (not Pink...) and a chocolate bunny because you have to have one of those, right?

What a cheeser! I love this girl!!!
Logan was really excited about his basket, too - Especially his Zhu-Zhu pet! I think the Easter Bunny was hoping these pets would help her or him stop feeling guilty that these kids don't have a real pet. It didn't really work....
Cuddling his new little hamster
Logan's basket was Blue - Blue M&M's, Blue Bubbles, blue Peeps and a couple other Blue candies, a Cars coloring thing, a Buzz Lightyear handheld game and his Zhu-Zhu. He was SO excited! And we have to have the chocolate bunny!

Logan looking intense trying out his Buzz game.
Daddy found his basket, too. It was stuffed with lots of Reese's candy and a couple CDs.

Avery was there, too. She just couldn't really get in on the hunt and didn't find any eggs. Next year, I am sure she will be in on all the fun. This was her first Easter!!! She got a little basket with a pink bunny and some little Puffs and other baby treats.

What a fun First Easter!

After our Easter celebrations, we spent the day watching conference and then headed to my parent's for an Easter/birthday dinner for my dad. My kids always love to visit Grandma and Grandpa! Here is Rylee covered with stickers Aunt Heather gave her - She is such a silly girl!

We also spent some time with Uncle Brad's bearded dragon. EWWW.... Someone dared Logan to kiss it... and he did!
Ry likes the dragon, too.
The girls in their cute twinner dresses. I bought a lot of matching clothes for them. I was a little afraid that Miss Independent Rylee would not like that, but she loves it and is always asking if her outfit is matching Avery's.

Sweet Avery! I love this baby girl!!! It was a REALLY busy weekend, but we had a great time and loved spending time with our family and enjoying our holiday traditions.
