GOOOO Mighty Cougars!

Last weekend, we took the kids to the UNLV-BYU football game here in Vegas. We are not the biggest BYU fans, but we do like watching them and we cheer for them whenever they don't play Utah State. We had a fun time at the game, although there were some crazy drunk UNLV fans around. They provided some good entertainment though. Logan loved going to the "football stadium". He gets so excited and loves cheering - He was chanting "B-Y-U" and "Go Mighty Cougars" and had so much fun. He looked so adorable in his little football jersey. Rylee wasn't too sure at first with all the noise, but she ended up liking it, too. By the end, she was SO tired and got really silly - she was laughing at everything!

Logan looked so cute cheering! He had the funniest high-pitched yell and loved yelling for the Cougar Touchdowns!
Rylee was so silly at the end of the night - She had the biggest grins!

Photo Shoots...

I love taking pictures of Rylee! I snap away hoping to get a couple good ones, but I always end up with so many cute ones! She loves the camera and always smiles for me. I also love that she can't really get away from me like Logan - I can't get pictures of him because he is always on the go! Theses are a few of our recent photo shoots! I can't believe that she is six months. Such a happy baby!
She is fascinated by the grass!
I don't know how much longer these photo shoots can last. She is now scooting around pretty good and starting to be on the go!

To Infinity and Beyond!!!

Logan is SO excited for his Halloween costume! I bought this for him last year at the Disney store on clearance and didn't think it would fit him yet, but I let him try it on the other day and it actually fit pretty good and he thought it was SO cool to wear it. The only problem is he thinks if he dresses like Buzz that he can also fly like Buzz
and he jumps off of all our furniture yelling, "To Infinity and Beyond!" He loves showing us the little lasers and buttons and wings just like Buzz has. He wants to wear it all the time - He even fell asleep in it the other day on the couch! I hope the costume lasts until Halloween....

Buzz Lightyear - Crashed Out!

Milestones!!!

Rylee is now six months old and growing up so fast! It makes me a little sad that she isn't a little baby anymore, but she is so much fun! Lately, she has had a lot of milestones-She is sitting up really well all by herself (she has been for about a month). She also started eating cereal a few weeks ago and most of the time she really likes it, although she does pull an occasional yucky face! At first she was spitting everything back out, but she is finally getting the hang of eating and swallowing. She is also starting to crawl! She started pushing up onto her hands and knees October 1st-I didn't know whether to cheer or cry as I know my life will never be the same now that I have 2 children on the go! Her crawling is quite interesting - It is definately her own version and looks a bit like "The Worm"! She pushes up onto her hands and toes, like a push up, then thrusts herself forward, falls onto her tummy and then starts over again! It takes her some effort, but she gets wherever she wants to go! The last few days she has also gotten the hang of moving her hands a little bit, so I think she will really be on the go soon - Yikes! She is such a silly little girl and is always smiling! She also LOVES to blow raspberries at us and is so noisy! She loves to yell and is also starting to babble a lot, too. She also loves her brother and smiles and laughs at him all the time. She is growing up a little too fast, but we are having a lot of fun watching her learn new things.

Our Little Beckham!

If you ask Logan who he plays soccer like, he will reply with "I play soccer like David Beckham!" (He has one of these responses for each sport-It is quite funny!) Anyway - Darren has been playing indoor soccer and they had a Little Kickers Open House a couple weeks ago, so we took Logan and he LOVED it! We had to drag him off of the field when we had to leave! He had a great time shooting goals, and would scream "GOOOOOAL!" each time he got it in the net! He had a great time! The class was really expensive, so we couldn't put him in it. But, I did find a little sports class at the community center that was cheaper that we are starting in a couple weeks. He is very excited about it and keeps asking when he can go to his "sports club"! I think it will be fun to watch him!

Lions & Tigers & Bears, Oh My!

Sorry about the cheesy title, but Darren said I needed something more interesting than my other boring ones! These are some photos from our trip to the Hogle Zoo. It has been over a month ago now, but I just haven't had access to wireless internet to post anything! There were some really fun pictures of the kids, so I wanted to include it. If you haven't been to the Hogle Zoo in awhile, I would recommend a trip! It is much improved - The elephants and the cat house are SO much nicer than they used to be! The animals looked so much healthier, too! Last time we went, they all seemed so sick!

The kids had a really fun time! Logan loved seeing all the animals - He was a little nervous about the giant sneezing elephant statue they had though! It sprayed water and freaked Logan out! He was NOT taking a picture on that! Rylee was a lot of fun too and especially loved watching the meerkats - She got so excited watching them!
Rylee ready for a day at the zoo!
Us with the giraffes - Mommy's favorite!

Checking out the elephants
Daddy and Logan with the rhinos - Daddy's favorite
Us with the elephants - The new elephant area is SO much nicer than it used to be!!!
They also had a white alligator on display-it was a little freaky looking!
Logan also loved the gorillas - He went up to the glass and said, "Hey buddy. What's going on? I'm Logan Scott Webber!" It was hilarious!

The zoo closed early the day we were there, but it worked out OK because the kids tired out pretty fast. We had a lot of fun!
