April 19 - Rylee had her VERY first dance performance! She has been taking dance since September and they are getting ready for their big recital in May so they had a practice performance for the 3 youngest classes at the retirement home. Rylee was very excited and a little nervous about her first chance to perform in front of people. They did one of the numbers that they will be performing for their recital. It was to a song called "Stupid Cupid". I think she might have been just as excited for her costume as anything else! She looked so cute in her outfit!
Here are some pics from her performance....
The residents at the retirement home loved the girls!
I think Rylee was supposed to be doing her final pose, but instead she is watching to make sure we are watching! I love it!
After they did their number, they had the girls each come out and they would call their name and they would skip across the stage, do a twirl, then do a "sassy" walk (my fav part!) and then another twirl and then sashay across the stage. It was so cute!
Rylee's turn - I love her skips!
Watching the other dancers
Rylee and her friend Taya from her class. She has loved dancing and we can't wait to see her perform at her dance recital!
One of my favorite things from the recital was Avery. She LOVED it! She sat right up in front and didn't move the whole time. She loved watching the girls! Then, she sashayed all the way to the car and then came home and did lots of performing all night and sashayed everywhere she went for the next couple days. Looks like we might have another dancer in the family soon!

Sweet and Sassy Miss A
Our cute little Avery is getting to be so funny and have so much personality! I love her! She looked adorable in her yellow for Easter. She is always saying the funniest things and has so much spunk. She must have learned all the hands on the hips and sassiness from her big sister. Or maybe it is just a born-in girl thing! She thinks she needs to do it for every pose. And once again, it is totally not coached! She can always make me smile!
Pretty in Peach
Rylee LOVED her Easter outfit almost as much as I loved it! She is such a girly girl and loves her frills and accessories and loves dressing up. She also loves having her picture taken and posing for the camera, if you can't tell. I love it! She does all these poses on her own. She looked so pretty all dressed up!
Handsome Man-some
I love my Logan Bogan! He looked so handsome in his Easter outfit. It is so hard to get good pictures of him. He is not really into having his picture taken and sometimes has the most painful smile, but I love him! I hate that he is getting to be so grown up - he has even started to wipe off our kisses!
Finally, a REAL smile!!!
Easter Outfits
Sunday April 8 - I LOVED the kids' Easter outfits this year! (So I tortured them with pictures.) I found the girls' skirts last year for a killer deal and HAD to have them! I was so excited when I found cute cardigans that matched. My friend made these headbands to match for me and I made Logan's tie. I thought they looked stinkin' cute!!! Happy Easter!
